SIMP - IM Encryption

Support of X.509 certificates

SimpLite and SimpPro 2.2 can import and use existing X.509 certificates. Certificates will be used for authentication and key-exchange, and will remain compatible with taditional SIMP keys.

Jabber (GoogleTalk & others) encryption coming soon!

End-to-end Jabber encryption will soon be supported by SimpLite and SimpPro

Changes in Yahoo! Messenger servers

Recent changes in Yahoo! Messenger servers are incompatible with SimpLite/SimpPro, making encrypted sessions impossible. New beta versions of SimpLite and SimpPro have been published to address that issue.
