AbstractAVG 8.0 introduces a new feature which is incompatible with SimpLite and SimpPro. ArticleAVG 8.0, recently released, includes an Instant Messaging scanning feature called 'Instant Messaging protection'. That feature is incompatible with SimpLite and SimpPro. When enabled, AVG's Instant Messaging protection will prevent SimpLite and SimpPro from starting. A workaround is to disable the Instant Messaging protection option, in AVG's Web Shield preferences. | ||||||
